Blogging on the Bears Birthday

Today is the Bears Birthday.
His 2nd Birthday to be precise.

I have much to say but I am writing this very quickly while he is out and about with Nanny and Grandad showing them the sights of Melbourne. So I will keep it brief and simply show you the absolutely amazing Thomas the Tank Engine cake that I baked for his birthday.

Yep, I know! What a beauty hey!
How good am I? – Answers in the comments please!

What do you mean it doesnt look like Thomas the Tank?
In my head it was supposed to be a Thomas the Tank Engine cake. The rest are minor details.
I’m not a foodie blog you know – what do you want from me?!?

Linking up with Essentially Jess, because it has been far too long.

Haha! Love it Rhian! Better than Thomas the Tank cake! Happy Birthday Bear!

  7. Totally was a Thomas cake, that was one of his headlights wasn’t it? Or was it the green signal light giving him the all clear to go through the crossing. Fairy wishes and butterfly kisses to your little one for the happiest of happy birthday’s

    • πŸ™‚ Excellent I am glad you could spot the genius in my abstract Thomas cake.
Thank you for the birthday wishes and for popping over to visit. x

    • BTW, I have tried to comment on a couple of your posts Rhianna but it won’t let me enter my details for some reason. Not sure if it is because I am on Ipad. 😦

  8. hahaha its 12.35am here.. and I am pissing myself laughing.. I LOVE the thomas cake.. I did that last year with my daughters castle cake that looked a little more like a square cake with cones on top. She only wanted it for the cones.

    • Brilliant I am glad you like it – I am available to hire for a very reasonable price, I can do a selection of round cakes and you can pretend they are anything you want. (Although, I haven’t moved onto cones yet so you may be a step ahead of me in the culinary genius stakes at the moment). Rest assured though – give me a year and I will catch up! πŸ™‚

  9. LOVE IT – totally not a foodie or crafty blogger either πŸ™‚

  10. oh I love it, at least you baked, right? Happy birthday to your little man.

    • This is true at least I baked it with my own fair hands. Looking at the state of it there is no way this could be mistaken for store bought!! πŸ™‚
Thank you for the birthday wishes and for stopping by.

  11. Best cake ever!!!!!

  12. Heh heh heh … you know I call my hubster the Bear. Great nickname!
